linkchecker-gui software package provides check websites and HTML documents for broken links (GUI client), you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install linkchecker-gui
linkchecker-gui is installed in your system.
Make ensure the linkchecker-gui package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep linkchecker-gui *
You will get with linkchecker-gui package name, version, architecture and description in a table
